Good day, Yes Bela, You are right -they are too heavy... it was my mistake/ I didn't correct them in time ,when I prepaired all spars... actualy all spars in this kit too heavy/ just out of proportion,as well as masts and top masts...there is a weakness in this kit with correct proportions.... When I started to assemble the kit, I was fully satisfied with it, and didnt make any corrections...but lately , with obtaining more information abt galleon's, I found so much troubles with this kit need to be corrected, so I decided do almost nothing at all :))) with correction... exept rigging , which I try to make a little bit more complicated than kit offers :))) ... this evening finaly fitted mizzen sail at place - rigged mizzen tie , and there are some minor sail's running rigging remains... after that mizzen lifts need to be aranged...

Good day, Dear friends, today finished fastening running rigging of mizzen sail - sheet, in the form of whip (Anderson p.238, pic.318) mizzen bowlines , here I tried to imitate making rope coil in "new" form and mizzen tack - a simple cable \ added guide block ... this rigging, how exactly to manage it, I don't know -so,on the pictures you will see purely my fantasy, I don’t know how it should be on the galleon ... I tried to do it on "motives" in the way of Anderson (and Hockel) ... :)

and this evening I began rigging the mizzen lifts ... here is too much uncertain for me , how strange it all turns out ... in the old pictures with galleons, and as Anderson and his comrades write about it (Anderson ,from p. 234 and on ...) it is often seen that the mizzen lifts went to the main top mast head , and everything seems to be fine passes ... well, in general of course :) ... but in fact, on the model, this can be managed only if I move the mizzen yard to the port or starbord in max position ... in such case, lifts doesn't "break" mizzen top mast shrouds ... in all other cases. ..it simply doesn"t work fine and smooth... or as Anderson mentioned, as soon as mizzen sail is setted,by analogy with lug-sail, then there is no need for tmizzen lifts, since the necessary inclination of the mizzen yard is provided by the tension of the mizzen sail tack ... I actually depicted mizzen lifts as a kind of “generalized-simplified” version, based on what Icould understood from / in the old “pictures” and on the reconstruction of the rigging of the 1610 galleon from Peter Kirsch ...

Good day, Dear friends, There are some news in bonaventur sail rigging... sorry for my too much "improvization" in this matter, but I franckly tried to follow guides from Anderson briliant book! :)))
there are some" stranges" which I've made in riging of bonaventur tie halliard, and it's bowlines leading- too far to the mizzen aft shrouds... very doubt,how it will be able to move bonaventur yard from board to board with such bowlines arrangement...but I didn't find more convinient places for this lines...if try to fast them too much aft-to the bonaventur forward shrouds, or fit them perpendicular to midel - fast to the nearest reilings... all this alternative bowlines positions also also create some problems with proper functioning could happened...however, to fix them to the nearby railings could be much better! but, I left it secured to the mizzen aft shrouds - like you can see on the attached foto...

there are couple of Dufken replica foto - regarding bonaventur bowlines arrangements - two different ways they mde it... I think <the last one -is more workable than first one( bowlines leads too far to the forward to be effective in operation/ to be able to turn mizzen yard frm board to board).
